It all started in the morning after Tanner and Avery we woke up. Chels & Ave spent the night so we could watch then open their presents together.
Just as the wise man brought 3 gifts to the baby Jesus, Santa Claus brought Tanner 3 gifts - a toy basketball hoop, choo-choo train, and fun balls. It's hard to know what to get the baby who has everything...
In the end, his favorite part was playing with the wrapping paper. I didn't think he would really get into it, but he still attacked the paper as he helped unwrap the gifts. The next favorite toy is this little ball that he's playing with. This game in his stocking - and is the perfect size for him to wrap his little fingers around.
It took Avery a few minutes, but she eventually got into the Christmas presents. She was really excited about the dress-up clothes that Anthony and I gave to her - and wanted to start trying them on right away. She's quite the little hottie. She then asked me to try them on...but unfortunately they didn't fit :(
Around 10, we went to the Callison's home. Most exciting was the much awaited phone call from Elder Casey Callison. With 6 other bros/sis and only 40 minutes to chat - there wasn't much time - but still worth every moment. They waited for us to arrive to open up the family gifts.

Mid-afternoon we headed over to my parents. Luckily, they are just a few minutes away. We had another Christmas dinner and played lots of games.
And around 7, we headed back over to Anthony's parents home so we could hang out more with his family and play more games together. We just didn't want the night to end!
